Our six (6) adjusters & appraisers have more than one hundred sixty (160) years of experience and their average length of employment is more than twelve (12) years.

OWNER / MANAGER

Franklin Darnell

Licensed All Lines (FL #A061639 & GA #814134).  Born 1943.  With Company (formally Neal D. Sapp Adjusters, Inc.) since 1962.  Purchased Company (1967) with L.A. “Bones” Slade and purchased Mr. Slade’s Interest (1974).  Attended Florida State University (1961-1963). 

Member of Atlanta Claims Association; Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention; Honorable Order of Blue Goose (International & Florida Pond); International Association of Arson Investigators; Tallahassee Claims Association (Secretary, 1967-68 & President, 1978-79) and Recipient of Tallahassee Claims Association Representative of the Year Award (1979 & 1980) & Advisory Board Member for Southern Guaranty Ins. Co. (1999-2001).

ADJUSTERS & APPRAISERS

Paula Nugent

Licensed All Lines (FL #A193870 & GA #AJN654609).  Born 1955.  With Company since 1992.  Prior experience (11 yrs.) with State Farm.  B.S., Florida State University (1977).

Jennifer Wilford

Licensed All Lines (FL #E109374 & GA #814139).  Born 1978.  With Company since 1996.  Prior experience (8 yrs.) with Slade & Darnell Adjusters as Administrative Assistant & Office Manager.  Lively Technical Center (1996).

Jayne Pass

Licensed All Lines (FL #P183581).  Born 1953.  With Company since 1994.  Prior experience (14 yrs.) with Slade & Darnell Adjusters as Administrative Assistant & Office Manager.  Attended Florida State University (1980-1982); B.S., University of South Florida (1985).

Norm Massion

Licensed All Lines (FL#A167766 & GA #812421).  Born 1948.  With Company since 2002.  Prior experience (30 yrs.) with USAA, Ohio Casualty & Crawford & Co.  Attended Midwestern University (1966-1967).

Phil Fusilier

Licensed All Lines (FL #P053790 & GA #818865).  Born 1949.  With Company since 2007.  Attended Louisiana State University (1967-1969).  Prior experience (35 yrs.) in law enforcement as deputy sheriff & policy chief.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Theresa McKown

Administrative Assistant.  Born 1959.  With Company since 2006.
